A versatile performer in both English and Afrikaans, James has garnered multiple awards as a leading and supporting actor both on screen and stage. In the fickle industry of acting, James’ skill and commitment to his craft have allowed him to work full time as a professional actor for the last 15 years in South Africa, the UK and the USA.

 

During his time in SA, James also enjoyed a vibrant career as a voice artist, the highlight of which was voicing 3 various ‘Cannes Lion’ winning campaigns for Ogilvy.

Although his primary passion is performance, James has also successfully produced two critically acclaimed feature films in SA, giving him a unique insight and appreciation as an actor, into what goes on behind the scenes of bringing a story to screen.

Now based in Los Angeles, California, James continues to pursue his passion and hone his craft as a performer.
